چکیده

Introduction: The novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, was identified at the end of December 2019 and resulted a global outbreak. Therefore, it is necessary to perform screening compounds herbal plants with antiviral potential against COVID-19. Mint leaves (Mentha piperita L.) were reported as one proposed samples, this study performed silico evaluate activity content. Methods:The mechanism action includes inhibition SARS-CoV-2 proteins from binding receptor. Subsequently, several receptors associated validated, code PDB 5R7Y an RMSD value 1.9974 Ã… obtained using YASARA application. This on 15 virtual mint five previously studied comparison inhibitory capacity. docking started PLANTS application, results visualised PyMol further identify amino acids contained ligand, while statistical t-test used for comparison. Results: showed existence active leaves, including rutin, hesperidin, isorhoifolin.

Background: Due to high genetic variation in human leukocyte antigen )HLA( alleles, epitope-based vaccines don’t show equal efficacy in different human populations. therefore, we proposed a multi-epitope vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 for Iranian populations. Materials and Methods: For this purpose, the proteins without allergenicity and high antigenicity as well as conservancy level from SARS-CoV...

Previous studies have shown that the monoterpene ketone l-[G-(3)H]-menthone is reduced to the epimeric alcohols l-menthol and d-neomenthol in leaf discs of flowering peppermint (Mentha piperita L.), and that a portion of the menthol is converted to menthyl acetate while the bulk of the neomenthol is transformed to neomenthyl-beta-d-glucoside (Croteau, Martinkus 1979 Plant Physiol 64: 169-175). ...

متن کاملStructure of a heterotetrameric geranyl pyrophosphate synthase from mint (Mentha piperita) reveals intersubunit regulation.
Terpenes (isoprenoids), derived from isoprenyl pyrophosphates, are versatile natural compounds that act as metabolism mediators, plant volatiles, and ecological communicators. Divergent evolution of homomeric prenyltransferases (PTSs) has allowed PTSs to optimize their active-site pockets to achieve catalytic fidelity and diversity. Little is known about heteromeric PTSs, particularly the mecha...
